In the case of a presale inspection, all aspects of the house are investigated, from basement to attic. Mr. Baudaux trained eye considers the interaction between different components of the building. He identifies major problems and explains the situation in a report written in an easily understood language, complete with large colour photos. He also explains the consequences for the building and its residents along with the cause of the problems observed when these are visible. He comments on the condition of the components and their degree of deterioration. Also included in the report are several minor points concerned with the buyers’ comfort, peace of mind and the long-term durability of the building.
